Canadian artificial intelligence company Cohere has reported reaching approximately $240 million in annual recurring revenue in 2025, surpassing its $200 million target and achieving more than 50% quarter-over-quarter growth during the year, according to investor communications. Founded in 2019 and backed by companies including Nvidia, AMD, and Salesforce, Cohere is focused on enterprise deployment of generative AI models.

The company’s Command family of AI models is designed for efficient deployment on limited GPU infrastructure, addressing enterprise cost and performance concerns. Cohere also launched North, a platform for building secure AI agents and enterprise workflows. CEO Aidan Gomez has indicated the company may pursue a public listing in the near future as competition intensifies among leading AI developers.
