Harvey has acquired Hexus, a two-year-old company building tools for product demos, videos, and guided workflows, as Harvey continues to scale amid intensifying competition in legal technology. Hexus founder and chief executive Sakshi Pratap has joined Harvey and will lead an engineering group focused on expanding AI-driven products for in-house legal departments. The San Francisco-based Hexus team has already integrated into Harvey, with additional engineers expected to join following the opening of a Bengaluru office.

The acquisition follows rapid growth at Harvey, which was valued at $8 billion after a $160 million raise led by Andreessen Horowitz. Co-founded by Winston Weinberg and Gabe Pereyra, Harvey now serves more than 1,000 clients across 60 countries, including most of the top U.S. law firms.
