Amazon has announced the launch of Alexa.com, bringing its AI-powered digital assistant Alexa+ to the web for the first time. Revealed at the opening of CES 2026 in Las Vegas, the rollout allows Alexa+ Early Access users to interact with the assistant through a browser, extending its reach beyond Echo devices and mobile apps.

The move reflects Amazon’s strategy to position Alexa+ as a ubiquitous AI assistant across home, mobile, and web environments. Alongside the web launch, Amazon is updating the Alexa mobile app with a more chatbot-centric, agent-driven interface.

Alexa+ on the web supports content creation, planning, and research, while emphasizing family-oriented use cases such as smart home control, calendars, shopping lists, and service integrations. The expansion is overseen by Daniel Rausch, Vice President of Alexa and Echo, as Amazon intensifies competition in the AI assistant market.
