Google has launched Gemini Enterprise, a new AI platform for businesses under Google Cloud, marking its most comprehensive move yet to compete with OpenAI and Anthropic in enterprise AI. The platform enables companies to securely build, deploy, and manage AI agents that automate workplace functions across sales, marketing, finance, engineering, and HR.
Initial customers include Figma, Klarna, Gordon Foods, Macquarie Bank, and Virgin Voyages, which has already deployed more than 50 specialized AI agents. Unlike previous Workspace integrations, Gemini Enterprise operates as an independent AI agent toolkit, integrating Google’s Gemini models with tools such as Code Assist and Deep Research to connect and analyze enterprise data across systems like Salesforce, SAP, and Microsoft 365.
Thomas Kurian, CEO of Google Cloud, described Gemini Enterprise as the “new front door for AI in the workplace,” reflecting Google’s effort to expand its share of the rapidly growing enterprise AI market. The platform is available starting at $30 per user per month, with business editions priced from $21, including a 30-day free trial for new customers.
