German B2B SaaS startup Steuerboard has secured €725,000 in pre-seed funding to accelerate development of its AI-native tax workflow platform and expand operations across the DACH region. The round was led by High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), with backing from SuperAngels Fund and entrepreneur Roland Fassauer.
Founded in 2023 by Matyas Heins and Jakob Brandt, Steuerboard helps tax advisory firms overcome staffing shortages by automating routine processes and eliminating inefficient communication. Heins said the funding enables them to deepen its AI-driven capabilities and scale delivery for tax teams across Germany. With nearly 100 tax offices already onboarded, Steuerboard plans to expand its team and introduce advanced agentic AI features to transform tax collaboration at scale.
