Norrsken VC, Launcher, and Accelerator has announced a €300 million investment commitment to European startups using artificial intelligence to address global challenges across climate, health, food, education, and society.

Calling AI “the most powerful tool humanity has ever created,” the firm argues that its potential has been underutilized — largely funneled into incremental tools for convenience. “The world doesn’t need another sales agent,” said the Norrsken team. “We need bigger prompts.”

Citing breakthroughs in energy optimization, disease detection, and precision agriculture, Norrsken believes the first trillion-euro AI companies will be those solving foundational problems. The initiative aims to shift the AI gold rush toward building enduring, problem-solving technologies that truly matter.
