Linguana, a multilingual AI dubbing startup for YouTube creators, has raised $8.5 million in seed funding to expand its AI-powered localization platform. The round was led by 2LVC with participation from prominent angels including Oren Zeev, Zohar Gilon, Eyal Waldman, and Oren Dobronsky.

Founded by Yuval Tal and Oded Shafran, Linguana combines advanced AI dubbing with human oversight to fully localize YouTube content — titles, descriptions, thumbnails, and brand integrations included. CEO Tal described the company as a “revenue engine, not a translation tool,” adding that creators benefit from zero upfront costs and a revenue-share model. The platform is now delivering hundreds of thousands in monthly revenue through localized channels.
