Kinetix has launched a $1 million AI-UGC Fund to help game developers and modders integrate Generative AI into their games. The fund will provide up to $75,000 to selected studios, along with integration and marketing support, to implement Kinetix’s AI-powered Emote Creator, which allows players to generate custom 3D animations from videos.

SmokeSpot Games, creators of the customizable game Dropcult, is the first recipient. This technology, already adopted by industry leaders like Krafton’s OVERDARE, enables players to create and share personalized content, enhancing user engagement and game virality.

The fund is open to developers with live games or games in beta with established 3D avatar systems. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
